Rich program, high level of competition and tremendous excitement characterized the previous editions of European Fencing Festival organized by the Fencing Section of Warta Poznań Sport Club. Having in mind the innovative formula of the event, the slogan of which is Sport – Culture – Education with great pleasure we invite to the next edition of this event on 4-5 June 2011 in hall 3A of Poznań International Fair (entrance on the corner of Roosvelta and Bukowska streets)
The goal of European Fencing Festival and Memorial of Fencing Master Jan Nowak, which is an integral part of the event, is promoting fencing among the youngest. No less important are the artistic and educational values which indirectly are a result of rich history of fencing. We are sure, that creative inspiration from these sources will allow us to create a great event unforgettable to competitors and fans alike.
We would like our children and adolescents to be able to actively participate in Holiday of sport and culture through taking part in artistic and cultural actions during the competition. Moreover, as a reward for effort put in the competition, we want to prepare an exciting closing ceremony for hundreds of young competitors for all over the world.
We believe that the European Fencing Festival 2011 will contribute to developing the idea of connecting sports and art.
